Our Mission

To promote the performing arts for the education, entertainment, and benefit of the residents, friends, and visitors to the friends and visitors of the Towns of Berne, Knox, Westerlo, Rensselaerville, Wright and surrounding communities. Additionally, this organization will provide opportunities to the youth of these communities for the development of interest, talents and skills in performing arts and provide an enjoyable atmosphere for all those participating in our productions.

The next meeting is on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 6:00 PM.
It will be at the Berne Reformed Church starting with a pot luck supper.
Please bring a entree/dessert to share and your own place setting (plate, cup, flatware, etc.)
Wee will be deciding on which play to perform in the fall and officers!

At the meeting afterwards, we will be voting on the fall show, plus the 2009-2010 slate of officers which is: Presdient Ann Rue, VP Rich Bartley, Recording secretary Joyce Abele, Correspondance Secretary Penny Shaw, Two-year Board members Ellen Preckel and Maureen Abbott, and one-year board members Jen Draisey and Laurie Romanski. Remember, if you are unable to attend the meeting and wish to cast your vot for both the slate of officers (either yea or nay) and this fall's show (either Hankerin' Hillbillies, The Dastardly Doctor Devereaux, or Losing Patients), please write your vote down on a piece of paper with your name on it and mail it to: Hilltowns Players, PO Box 208, Berne NY 12023 as soon as possible.

Welcome and thank you for visiting The Hilltowns Players (HTP) web site. Please browse around to see where we’re going and where we’ve been. Check out the Current Productions page to see our upcoming productions. After that, check out the Past Productions page to see where we’ve been. Don’t forget to check out our Photo Gallery page to see pictures of on-stage action as well as behind the scenes tomfoolery and set/scenery design and construction.  Without our wonderful sponsors we would not be able to bring quality community theater to the residents of the Hilltowns and surrounding area. So, take a look at the Supporting Cast page to view a list of these fine businesses and individuals.  Contact information for HTP can be found on the Who We Are page.
